Job Summary
Store Driver responsible for picking, staging, and safely delivering automotive parts to professional customers, handling returns, distributing sales flyers, and promoting loyalty programs. Builds and maintains relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assists in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value, and maintains store cleanliness and stock integrity. Engages with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services, while using delivery boards and inventory systems. Requires safe driving, effective communication, basic math, and ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and strong English communication skills (Spanish a plus). Prior automotive parts experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure
- English language proficiency (Spanish a plus)
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to engage customers and promote products
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Knowledge of inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
