Job Summary
Store Driver delivers automotive parts to pro customers, picks/stages orders, collects payments/credit accounts, builds relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and promotes current sales and loyalty programs. Responsibilities include safe driving, navigating delivery boards, stocking and organizing back stock, maintaining store cleanliness, upselling/cross-selling products to increase average transaction value, and engaging with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services. Requires driving a vehicle, basic math, inventory knowledge, and strong customer service; bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work flexible days including weekends; knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- English communication skills; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, parts catalogs
- Basic math proficiency
- Willingness to learn and promote products
- Customer service orientation
- Safety awareness
- Inventory/Back-room knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs with assistance
- Knowledge of store operations and inventory systems
