Job Summary
Store Driver delivers automotive parts to pro customers, picks up returns and cores, and promotes current sales and loyalty programs. Responsibilities include safe delivery, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking and back-stock management, engaging walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts or services, and assisting in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value. Must build strong relationships with customers and use inventory systems and the delivery board to support sales efforts, while adhering to safety practices and driving requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals
- Basic math skills (units of measure)
- English language proficiency (Spanish a plus)
- Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Automotive parts experience preferred
