Job Summary
Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers while picking up returns, cores, and weekly/monthly sales flyers. Drop off flyers to promote current sales and loyalty programs, and build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers by providing insights learned during deliveries. Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value, and maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot. Perform general stocking including truck stocking, back stock, and cycle counts while maintaining knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals. Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Safe driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Friendly and persuasive communication
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
- Sales aptitude and customer service orientation
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Speak and write English
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- For applicants in the state of Tennessee, you are required to have a valid F - endorsement on your drivers license to be eligible for this position
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
