Job Summary
Store Driver at Advance Auto Parts responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers, handling returns, promoting sales and loyalty programs, maintaining inventory and store appearance, engaging with walk-in customers to identify needs, and upselling/cross-selling products. Requires safe driving, navigation, customer service, knowledge of inventory systems, and the ability to work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record; high school diploma or equivalent; automotive parts experience preferred; strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) in all units of measure
- Ability to work various days, evenings, and weekends
- Experience in automotive parts preferred
- English language proficiency (Spanish a plus)
