Job Summary
Store Driver responsibilities include picking, staging and safely delivering parts to pro customers, picking up returns and cores, daily credit collection support, and upselling to increase average transaction value. Maintains store cleanliness, shelves, and stock through back stock and cycle counts, while engaging walk-in customers to identify needs and recommend parts or services. Knowledge of product inventory, new arrivals, and ability to use delivery systems and safety procedures are required; strong English communication and willingness to learn about products and sales techniques are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate in English (Spanish a plus)
- Basic math skills to perform unit conversions and calculations
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Automotive parts experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance when required
- Customer service and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with inventory systems and store equipment
