Job Summary
Store Driver responsibilities include picking, staging and safely delivering parts to pro customers; picking up returns and cores; distributing weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs; maintaining and stocking inventory including back stock and cycle counts; assisting in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value; engaging with walk-in customers to assess needs and recommend parts or services; maintaining store cleanliness; using the delivery board system; and complying with safety practices. Requires English proficiency (Spanish a plus), valid driver’s license with a good driving record, ability to lift substantial weights, and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends; automotive-parts experience preferred. Compensation range is $16.40-$17.75 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Strong English communication skills; Spanish is a plus
- Experience in automotive parts or similar retail environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- Willingness to learn about products and sales techniques
- Customer service and sales aptitude
