Job Summary
Store Driver with a focus on selecting, staging, and safely delivering parts to professional customers; building and maintaining relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value; and maintaining store cleanliness and inventory. The role emphasizes customer-facing sales aptitude, safety, knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus) and the ability to read and interpret various manuals and safety documents are required; automotive parts experience is preferred. The position involves driving, stock maintenance, and using inventory and delivery systems to support store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Automotive parts experience is preferred
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to engage customers and promote products
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with inventory systems and store equipment
- Safety knowledge and skills
