Job Summary
Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers while collecting credit accounts and dropping off sales flyers. Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling to increase transaction value, and maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, and parking lot. Perform general stocking, truck stocking, and cycle counts while engaging walk-in customers to recommend appropriate parts. Requires a valid driver's license, safe driving ability, and experience working evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Speak and write English
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Be able to talk and hear
- Be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Be able to reach with hands and arms
- Be able to climb or balance
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
