Job Summary
Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers while handling returns, cores, and weekly sales flyers. Cross-train as a front-of-store salesperson to deliver parts, upsell products, and engage walk-in customers. Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, collect credit accounts, and maintain store cleanliness and inventory. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Speak and write English
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Close vision

- Ability to adjust focus

- Experience as a front of store salesperson

- Experience with store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
- Experience with truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
- Knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals
- Experience engaging with walk-in customers
- Experience recommending appropriate parts or services
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Friendly and persuasive communication
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Experience operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
- Sales aptitude and customer service orientation
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
