Job Summary

Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers while handling returns, cores, and weekly sales flyers. Cross-train as a front-of-store salesperson to deliver parts, upsell products, and engage walk-in customers. Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, collect credit accounts, and maintain store cleanliness and inventory. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Speak and write English
  • Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Close vision
  • Distance vision
  • Color vision
  • Depth perception
  • Ability to adjust focus

  • Experience with truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
  • Knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals
  • Experience engaging with walk-in customers
  • Experience recommending appropriate parts or services
  • Ability to use delivery board system
  • Friendly and persuasive communication
  • Ability to locate and stock parts
  • Safety knowledge and skills
  • Experience operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
  • Sales aptitude and customer service orientation
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
  • Ability to use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
  • Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques
