Job Summary
Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers while picking up returns, cores, and weekly/monthly sales flyers to promote loyalty programs. Collect credit accounts daily and build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers by providing insights learned during deliveries. Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value, maintaining store cleanliness and performing general stocking including truck stocking and cycle counts. Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate parts or services. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work evenings and weekends, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Speak and write English
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment

- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
