Job Summary
Direct all store operations by hiring and maintaining a proper level of employees, checking inventory, and auditing pre-book orders. Control shrink through correct inventory levels and rotation, monitor pricing against competition, and manage labor projections to meet sales and profit budgets. Lead the team by training associates, coaching daily tasks, resolving conflicts, and conducting performance reviews at 3, 6, and 12 months. Ensure facility compliance with company standards, maintain clean conditions, and report maintenance issues immediately. Complete all required paperwork including AG Statement Sales Loss/Gain and Weekly Purchase Reports. Full-time role requiring ability to lift 60 lb. boxes and work in environments with slippery floors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
