Job Summary
Direct all store operations by hiring and maintaining a proper level of employees, managing inventory and stock conditions, and auditing pre-book suggested orders. Control shrink through correct inventory levels and proper rotation while ensuring credits are requested from vendors. Monitor pricing against competition, provide labor scheduling, and complete all required reports including AG Statement Sales Loss/Gain and Weekly Projections. Lead the team by training, coaching, and mentoring associates to ensure a stable workforce, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a disciplined environment. Maintain a clean facility, comply with all company policies and government regulations, and report maintenance issues immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
