Job Summary
Lead a team of retail sales associates and dive professionals across two Northern Virginia locations to drive revenue for scuba instruction, equipment sales, and travel programs. Manage the profit and loss, payroll budgets, and inventory while overseeing safe operation, class scheduling, and equipment service. Split time between Ashburn and Vienna to recruit, train, and coach diverse staff, ensuring consistent safety standards and customer experiences. Collaborate with central Store Support to implement marketing initiatives and develop new dive professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of managing retail or service-based businesses
- Experience overseeing multiple locations or high-volume facilities
- Strong ability to lead, delegate to, and unify teams across different physical footprints
- Deep understanding of retail metrics, inventory control, and budgeting
- History of driving sales growth through structured team coaching
- Strong desire to learn
- Ability to regularly commute and balance time between the Vienna and Ashburn facilities
- Must obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) credentials
- Must become a certified scuba diver
