Job Summary
Store Director responsible for all aspects of store operations including planning, budgeting, labor optimization, events, merchandising, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Leads department managers, oversees scheduling and hiring practices to maintain payroll targets, analyzes financial statements, and drives sales while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. Requires leadership, strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and a track record in retail operations and merchandising, with a preference for grocery/natural foods experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- minimum of 6 years professional experience
- preferred grocery retail experience in store operations and merchandising processes and procedures
- experience in natural foods industry is a plus
- customer service excellence
- ability to adapt to high volume retail
- strong communication and organizational skills
- MS Office proficiency
