Job Summary
Lead the total performance of your store by driving revenue growth, achieving monthly sales targets, and managing expenses across swim, scuba, retail, travel, and service. Set the standard for high-touch customer service while recruiting, training, and coaching a diverse team of full-time, part-time, and contracted members. Ensure operational excellence through inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining a safe, clean facility from the retail floor to the pool deck. Partner with Store Support to grow customer acquisition and retention, and represent Diventures in the community by building relationships with local partners. This hands-on role requires comfort working on the retail floor and pool deck, with a focus on safety, business results, and team development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading customer-focused teams, including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and team development
- Strong sales leadership experience across in-person, phone, and written communication
- Financial and operational management experience, including revenue, margin, payroll, expenses, inventory, and budgets
- A customer-first mindset and the ability to create positive, personalized experiences
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Comfort working in a hands-on environment, including time spent on the retail floor and/or pool deck
- Scuba, aquatics, pool operations, lifeguard, or dive professional experience - or a strong desire to learn
