Job Summary
Store Detective responsible for maintaining a safe, secure environment and conducting investigations into internal and external theft (ORC) at a Meijer store. Duties include inspecting building exterior and backroom, reviewing exception reports, performing surveillance of shoplifting and theft activity, reporting safety hazards to leadership, testing camera equipment, monitoring alarm activity, participating in apprehensions and assisting in prosecutions, and thorough documentation and report writing for potential litigation. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of security experience (or 1 year of work experience); emphasizes safety practices, adherence to policies, and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
