Job Summary
Conduct walking inspections of backrooms and sales floors while visually inspecting building exteriors and parking lots for hazards. Investigate internal and external theft, including organized retail crime, by reviewing cashier exception reports, theft activity reports, and alarm system printer logs. Perform shoplifting surveillance, test camera equipment, and report safety hazards to leadership for mitigation. Participate in apprehensions, assist in prosecution of external theft cases, and engage in extensive documentation and report writing for litigation. Testify in criminal and civil court proceedings while adhering to all safety practices and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience in security
- At least 1 year of work experience
