Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsibilities include delivering parts to customers as a NAPA Brand Ambassador, picking up parts from vendors, stocking/maintaining inventory, and ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness. You’ll build lasting relationships with customers during deliveries, perform basic maintenance and safety checks on the delivery truck, handle cash transactions, and stay flexible with a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role emphasizes independent driving, customer interaction, safety, and reliability in a fast-moving environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs of merchandise
- Stamina to stand and walk for entire shift
- Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves (eight feet) with stool/ladder
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- Experience driving throughout metropolitan area using maps and directions
- Ability to handle cash charge transactions correctly and manage returns
- Maintain distribution log or tracking system for deliveries/pickups
- Maintain, protect, and inspect company assets (merchandise, vehicles, building, people)
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
