Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members answer questions and bring customers into the store to engage with a positive consumer experience. Utilize technology, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems to manage transactions. This role requires a valid driver's license and high school diploma, with a preference for automotive industry experience or a willingness to learn all things auto parts. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
- Willingness to learn all things auto parts
Desired Qualifications
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
