Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter and over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members in addressing customer questions while delivering outstanding customer care and interactions. Welcome retail customers into the store, engage them to provide a positive consumer experience, and utilize technology, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems to complete transactions. This role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, and experience in the automotive industry or a willingness to learn. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
- Background and knowledge of automotive parts
Desired Qualifications
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
