Job Summary
As a NAPA Counter Sales Associate (Part Time), you will be the face of the store, assisting customers with auto parts questions in-person at the counter or over the phone. You will use your parts knowledge to provide solutions, support other team members, and ensure a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include helping retail and wholesale customers, welcoming customers into the store, using a computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system, and maintaining customer-centric service in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and a willingness to learn automotive parts; prior experience in the automotive industry or a parts store is a plus, as is background in related domains. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry (preferred)
- Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems (a plus)
- ASE Certifications (a plus)
