Store Counter Sales (Part Time)

Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions. Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions to create a positive experience. Welcome customers into the store and engage to provide excellent service. Use technology (computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog). Must have background/knowledge of automotive parts or willingness to learn all things auto parts. This role is suitable for someone looking to grow their career within the company, with opportunities across roles. ASE Certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Love fast paced retail environments
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry or related fields (preferred)
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems (a plus)
- ASE Certifications (a plus)
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree (not required)
