Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members and deliver outstanding customer care by welcoming visitors and engaging them with a positive experience. Operate technology, cash registers, telephone, and paper catalog systems to manage transactions. Bring high energy to fast-paced retail environments while maintaining excellent communication skills and empathy for customers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
- Willingness to learn all things auto parts
Desired Qualifications
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
