Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions while delivering outstanding care and interactions. Welcome retail customers into the store, engage them to provide a positive consumer experience, and utilize technology, cash registers, and catalog systems to complete transactions. This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for career growth within a Fortune 200 global auto parts network.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Love fast paced retail environments
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
- Willingness to learn all things auto parts
Desired Qualifications
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
