Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members and deliver outstanding customer care to everyone entering the store. Welcome retail customers, engage them to provide a positive experience, and operate technology including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems. This role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, and experience in the automotive industry or a willingness to learn all things auto parts. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
- Willingness to learn all things auto parts
Desired Qualifications
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
