Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members and deliver outstanding customer care to everyone entering the store. Welcome customers into the retail environment, engage them with a positive consumer experience, and utilize technology, cash registers, and catalog systems to process transactions. This role requires a background in automotive parts or a willingness to learn, with a focus on high-energy interactions in a fast-paced retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Love fast paced retail environments
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
- Background and knowledge of automotive parts
Desired Qualifications
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
