Job Summary
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members answer questions and deliver outstanding customer care to everyone entering the store. Welcome retail customers, engage them with high energy, and utilize technology, cash registers, and catalog systems to support sales. This role serves as the face of the retail store, offering a path for growth within a Fortune 200 global auto parts network known for a family feel and internal promotion opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
Desired Qualifications
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
