Job Summary
As a Store Counter Sales associate at NAPA, you will be the face of the retail store, providing auto parts answers and solutions to customers in person and over the phone, using your parts knowledge to assist team members and deliver outstanding customer care in a fast-paced environment. You’ll welcome customers, guide them through parts questions, and leverage computer systems, cash register, and catalogs to support sales. A background in automotive parts or hands-on automotive tinkering is preferred, with a willingness to learn all things auto parts and grow your career within the company. An ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. ASE certifications or related technical training are a plus. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Knowledge of automotive parts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use a computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system
