Job Summary
Face of the NAPA store at the counter, providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person or by phone. Uses parts knowledge to assist team members and customers, delivering outstanding customer care in a fast-paced retail environment. Welcomes customers, engages them to ensure a positive consumer experience, and utilizes a computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system. Prior experience in automotive parts or willingness to learn all things auto parts is preferred; a background in automotive tinkering or servicing cars/trucks is a plus. The role supports growth within the company and offers the opportunity to explore other careers, with a culture focused on training, development, and internal promotion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems (a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-centric attitude
- Background in automotive industry or related fields (a plus)
- ASE Certifications (a plus)
