Job Summary
Face of the retail store providing auto parts answers and solutions to customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use parts knowledge to assist team members and customers, deliver outstanding customer care, engage customers to create a positive in-store experience, and use a computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system to support sales. Requires a background or interest in automotive parts, willingness to learn all things auto parts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment with strong communication and empathy for customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Love fast paced retail environments
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems is a plus
- ASE Certifications (a plus)
- ASE Certifications (not a deal breaker if not present)
