Job Summary
NAPA Counter Sales associate at a retail store serving auto parts customers. You’ll be the face of the store, providing auto parts answers and solutions in person at the counter or over the phone, using parts knowledge to assist customers and teammates, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The role uses a computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates enjoy helping customers with auto parts questions, have automotive兴趣/background, and are excited to learn more about automotive parts and careers within the company; opportunities for growth and advancement are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Background in automotive parts or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Love fast paced retail environments
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers
- Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems (a plus)
- ASE Certifications (a plus)
- Customer-centric orientation
