Job Summary
As a NAPA Store Counter Sales Associate, provide auto parts answers at the counter and over the phone, use your parts knowledge to assist other team members and customers, and deliver outstanding customer care in a fast-paced retail setting. You’ll welcome customers into the store, engage them to provide a positive consumer experience, and work with a computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system. The role emphasizes helping retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions, learning automotive parts knowledge, and contributing to a team-focused environment with opportunities for career growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn all things auto parts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems is a plus
- ASE Certifications is a plus
