Job Summary
Greet customers, assist with product location, and process sales transactions using approved payment systems. Maintain store cleanliness and safety by stocking shelves, monitoring gas pumps for theft, and reporting suspicious activity or equipment malfunctions to the Manager. Strictly adhere to state laws regarding tobacco, lottery, and alcohol sales while promoting loyalty programs. Complete daily shift reports and follow all security, emergency protocols, and corporate policies. Minimum age of 18 required for tobacco, lottery, and alcohol sales.
Required Qualifications
- Must be minimum eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and /or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (95%), Sitting (5%)
- Ability to climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periods
- Ability to use close, distant, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual focus
- Ability to smell and identify odors
- Ability to clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
