Job Summary
Conduct store operations by assisting customers with donations, selecting items, and purchasing products while operating and maintaining the cash register. Receive donated products, sort them, determine suitability and pricing based on established standards, and prepare items for display. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of store displays and the sorting room, ensuring security of items and funds. Perform duties including continuous walking, standing, and light lifting, adhering to the ministry's organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing
- Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization Of The Salvation Army
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience working in a retail store
