Job Summary
Receive donations from donors, issue receipts, and rotate stock to the sales floor per established procedures. Place merchandise on textile racks and wares shelves, sort and label hangers by type, and maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and production area. Greet customers with a professional attitude, direct them to proper areas, and answer telephone inquiries using established etiquette. Stay alert for shoplifting and notify management of suspicious activity while adhering to Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager. This role requires lifting up to 40 pounds regularly and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull
- Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and the ability to lean and remove garments from containers
- Acceptable and job-related drug test
- Motor vehicle report
- Reference check
Desired Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Previous retail experience
- Beginner knowledge of the Internet and the ability look up information
