Job Summary
Order merchandise from suppliers based on inventory levels, check product expiration dates, and rotate stock. Provide customer service at the checkout counter by assisting shoppers with product selections and processing payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC cards. Unpack and organize shelves, racks, and bins to ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing. Maintain cleanliness by routinely cleaning counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms. Assist the store manager and team members with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or store clerk experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service
