Job Summary
Store Clerk role assists customers with donations and purchases, operates and maintains a cash register, answers questions, keeps store displays clean and orderly, and ensures security of items and cash. The Sorting Room function covers receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for display; pricing is based on established standards. Requires ability to read/write English, attend regularly, stand/walk for extended periods, and comply with Salvation Army policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D., and experience working in a retail store preferred, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
