Store Clerk duties including excellent customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating and displaying merchandise, housekeeping inside/outside store, store safety and security, and deli food sales/cooking. Operate computerized cash register, give correct change, process payments (credit cards, checks), and bag merchandise. Remember regular customers, answer phones, monitor for shoplifters, handle customer complaints. Stock shelves and coolers, complete shift duties, clean and maintain all areas, complete vendor check-in procedures, and follow protocol and loss-prevention measures. Perform duties such as sweeping the lot, snow removal, cleaning gas pumps, and maintaining beverage/dispenser areas. Also perform deli duties in smaller locations as described.
