Job Summary
Greet customers with a courteous attitude, provide prompt and accurate service, and direct them to the proper areas. Ring up all sales transactions, ensure correct change and receipts, and manage cash, check, and charge card processes while maintaining a clean register. Assist sales floor employees with stocking and recovery, answer telephone calls using established etiquette, and follow all policies regarding voids and the change Round Up program. This role involves standing and walking for long periods with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds in a moderate noise environment. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull
- Basic computer skills
- Beginner knowledge of touch screen cash registers
Desired Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Previous retail and/or cashiering experience
