Job Summary
Store Manager at Circle K supervises 2+ full-time employees, recruits and trains staff, schedules to ensure customer service excellence, maintains store presentation, safety, and compliance, analyzes daily sales and expenses, and manages cash handling, inventory, and reporting to maximize sales and profitability. The role requires leadership in a retail environment, training on safety procedures, and ensuring effective communication with staff and management. Experience in cash handling, inventory control, merchandising, and basic financial analysis is expected; certifications such as ServSafe may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of retail work experience or equivalent
- Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR/LSR/SA descriptions
- Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR/LSR/SA descriptions
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Ability to have open availability
- English communication skills
- Food Server certificate (e.g. ServSafe) and Food Safety Management certification may be required
