Job Summary
Store Associate duties include greeting customers and donors, contributing to store sales targets, handling cash and debit transactions, processing donations, managing inventory and displays, ensuring product pricing and policy adherence, maintaining store safety and cleanliness, and supporting team operations. Must be able to lift up to 29 lbs, work a permanent part-time schedule including weekdays and Saturdays, and demonstrate attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and strong interpersonal/communication skills. Prior cash handling experience and familiarity with computerized systems are assets. Location is Peterborough, ON, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of some high school course work
- Experience with cash registers and related processes and procedures i.e., bank deposits, summary reports, etc.
