Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service, operate a cash register and self-checkout devices (SCOs), and accurately record transactions. Replenish merchandise around the checkout area, follow up on hot-selling items, complete markdowns and SKU changes when needed, and maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards. Perform cycle counts and ensure compliance with policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery, maintain a clean checkout area, and follow loss-prevention practices. This temporary role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment with opportunities to develop skills and grow within Giant Tiger, including varied shifts and weekend coverage. Compensation is hourly and aligned with the stated pay.
