Job Summary
Ensure high-level customer service and accurately record transactions on electronic cash registers, mainlines, and self-checkouts. Replenish merchandise around the checkout area, maintain planograms and labels, and perform cycle counts as required. Follow policies for tobacco and lottery sales, uphold health and safety guidelines, keep work areas clean, and apply loss prevention best practices. Work day shifts, evenings, and weekends in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and maintain authorization for the duration of employment.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
- Ability to stand and/or walk.
- Ability to bend, twist, and squat.
- Ability to perform tasks involving firm grasping.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring a range of hand motions.
- Ability to reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
- Ability to operate equipment, including using a ladder.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
