Job Summary
Assist the Purchase Manager to maintain optimum stock levels and ensure goods are stored correctly with regard to temperature and shelf life. Ensure items are made against requisitions and that no items leave the storeroom without proper documentation or signature. Follow HACCP procedures and maintain clear records. Oversee the overall maintenance of Stores and coordinate with ibis Pune departments to maximize cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service. Support the Finance function as needed, review inventories to reduce spoilage and wastage, recommend optimal inventory levels, ensure security of storeroom, and ensure timely delivery of materials to departments. Maintain stock records, check expiry dates, perform FIFO, and adhere to health, safety and environmental policies, ISO requirements, and environmental commitments as applicable. Be prepared for any duties assigned by Management and assist in harmonizing operations with purchasing, kitchen, and housekeeping teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum graduate (preferred) in any stream
- Basic knowledge of store/inventory management
- Experience in stores, inventory, or warehouse (hospitality experience preferred)
- Freshers with relevant internship/training may also be considered
- Knowledge of inventory systems / Materials Control
- Basic MS Excel skills
- Attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
- Operational Knowledge of handling inward & outward materials
- Coordination with purchase, kitchen, and housekeeping teams
- Good communication skills
- Honesty & integrity
