Job Summary
Provide differentiated customer service by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and resolving service issues while handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks. Support opening and closing activities, assist pharmacy personnel during pharmacy shifts, and ensure photo and beauty departments remain fully stocked and operational. Anticipate customer needs and actively identify potential service issues to positively impact lives one customer at a time. This part-time role requires 20 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting
- Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
