Job Summary
Anticipate customer needs by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and resolving service issues while accurately processing cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Maintain the sales floor through restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory. Support opening and closing activities, ensure photo and beauty departments remain fully stocked, and assist pharmacy personnel when needed. Work 20 hours weekly as a part-time role with a base pay of $16.00 - $23.00. Must be at least 16 years old with close visual acuity; high school diploma preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting
- Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts/details
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
