Job Summary
As a Store Assistant Manager, you will partner with the Store Manager in daily operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, staff scheduling, and ensuring high levels of customer and donor satisfaction. You will assist in hiring, training, and coaching store employees, monitor performance indicators, and handle day-to-day operations in the absence of the Store Manager. The position requires effective communication with a variety of stakeholders and involves physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years previous Retail Management/Supervisory experience (thrift preferred)
- Must hold a valid Driver's license and have access to a motor vehicle
- Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors
