Job Summary
Open and close the store, manage point of sale operations, and oversee inventory rotation while ensuring ARC merchandising standards are met. Assume full responsibility for daily store operations, including personnel management, cash handling, and employee scheduling, in the Store Manager's absence. Monitor key performance indicators to drive sales and profitability, and lead hiring, training, and performance coaching for the store team. Ensure high customer and donor satisfaction, maintain security of funds and property, and report on Beneficiaries under Work Therapy Assignments. Coordinate team meetings, conduct safety inspections, and complete administrative tasks as assigned by district leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years previous Retail Management/Supervisory experience
- Basic understanding of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to pass MVR report
- Proof of insurance
- Access to a motor vehicle
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts
