Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with oversight of Stationstore operations, including hiring, supervising staff, managing daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising. Maintain high standards by providing fast, friendly customer service and executing the food program's requirements. Ensure regular, predictable onsite attendance while demonstrating urgency, patience, and leadership in team management. Handle cash transactions, solve problems, and advocate for safety and security. Recruit, interview, and hire employees while delegating responsibilities and motivating the team. Lead a diverse group of employees/management with strong communication and planning skills.
Required Qualifications
- Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Display a sense of urgency
- Display patience
- Display leadership
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
- Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands
- Ability to climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
